One thing it doesn't do is allow one to simply address the Sun Alert cluster needs of a server. This is because it works strictly from a patchdiag.xref file and this file doesn't have a field that marks a patch as an ALERT patch. Still, I think it fulfills your other requirements nicely. <br /><br />I have spoken at length with my Sun SEs about xVM, and have stressed the need to separate the product offerings of this suite. WOuldn't it be nice to be able to purchase just the Patching solution? Then later add the provisioning, then monitoring...etc. Piece by piece instead of the 'all or nothing' approach.
